Job Summary

Provides legal administrative assistant support to assigned department. Responsibilities include preparing documents, scanning, photocopying, and filing; processing incoming/outgoing correspondence; proofreading materials for grammar and format; tracking case-related communication in electronic docketing; organizing electronic case files; meeting deadlines; screening calls for attorneys; performing electronic filing with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, the Supreme Judicial Court for Suffolk County, and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts; operates in a hybrid work environment. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and typically 2+ years of administrative experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication; confidentiality and ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting; ability to collaborate with diverse communities.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of administrative assistant office experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Microsoft Word)
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
  • Proofing skills
