Job Summary

The Legal Administrative and Social Media Marketing Assistant provides comprehensive legal administrative and social media marketing support to an executive partner. Responsibilities include formatting, proofreading, and finalizing legal documents; scheduling meetings; client communication; supporting business development and marketing efforts; maintaining contact databases and CRM; coordinating content across social media platforms; creating and distributing email campaigns and client alerts; and gathering marketing analytics. Required qualifications emphasize an associate's or bachelor's degree in related fields (preferred) and at least five years of administrative experience (preferred), with experience in a law firm or professional services environment and familiarity with marketing, PR, LinkedIn content, CRM, and Microsoft Office tools. Working in a professional office within a large law firm, the role entails confidentiality, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, with occasional extended hours to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience preferred; Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred; Marketing, communications, business development, public relations, or professional services marketing experience preferred; Experience managing LinkedIn content, email marketing campaigns, contact databases, or CRM platforms preferred
  • Skills: Strong written communication, proofreading, grammar, and editing skills; Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment; Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, staff, vendors, and business contacts; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and CRM systems preferred; Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
