Job Summary
Intern will research, compile, and visualize potential Legacy Places sites and partners related to Underground Railroad preservation, develop a roster of government and nonprofit partners involved in conserving sites related to the Underground Railroad and freedom corridors, and produce visualizations and organized parcel data to support collaboration on visioning, revitalization, stewardship, and long-term ownership. Start and end dates are negotiable, with a total internship of 375 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Experience conducting archival/historic research.
- Background in data organization and analysis.
- Experience in data visualization and storytelling.
- Interest in historic preservation and conservation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
