Job Summary
Lead and manage ADRA's planned giving program, directing donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship within the Growth Marketing and Philanthropy unit; collaborate to integrate planned giving into the organization's fundraising plan, including bequests, trusts, appreciated stock, IRA distributions, beneficiary donations, and charitable gift annuities; prepare financial illustrations and draft gift agreements, coordinate with leadership and stakeholders, and maintain records to evaluate program impact; support legacy giving in harmony with marketing activities across print, digital, and events; travel up to 35% to engage donors and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field of study
- A minimum of five years experience as a planned gifts or trust officer in a non-profit organization, or equivalent experience
- A proven track record in closing planned gifts
- Exceptional communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities
