LEG - Property and Casualty Account Manager

Job Summary
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, building relationships that drive retention and satisfaction. Partner with producers to support new business and renewals while analyzing exposures and recommending coverage solutions aligned with business objectives. Provide technical guidance on complex coverage questions, review policy documents for accuracy, and coordinate with carriers to secure competitive pricing. Manage the renewal process, policy servicing, and claims coordination while maintaining accurate client records in agency management systems. Consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance coverages and principles
- Experience supporting mid-sized to large commercial clients
- Ability to interpret policies, endorsements, forms, and coverage language
- Experience working directly with carriers, underwriters, producers, and clients
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred
- Professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CPCU, ARM, or CRM are a plus
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, client-focused mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for diverse audiences
- High attention to detail with strong execution skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
