Job Summary
Ignite intellectual curiosity through independent teaching in tutorials, workshops, placement units, and clinical sessions while engaging students in immersive learning experiences. Develop and review units and course materials using innovative methodologies in collaboration with Senior Social Work academic staff. Participate in scholarly research projects to enrich expertise and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the Social Work field. Actively reflect on teaching practice to continually improve methods and utilize feedback for enhancement. Stay abreast of the latest teaching approaches through formal professional development activities. Contribute to discipline meetings to help shape the future of Social Work education.
Required Qualifications
- A strong educational background, preferably with postgraduate qualifications in Social Work
- Eligibility for membership of AASW (Australian Association of Social Work)
- A proven track record of substantial industry practice in the social work field
