Job Summary
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Professional Psychology responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, clinical supervision, and placement coordination across postgraduate psychology programs. Collaborate with program leadership to coordinate courses, manage placement processes and compliance (AHPRA, PsyBA, APAC), and develop partnerships with external agencies to secure quality placement opportunities. Oversee placement experiences for Master of Professional Psychology students and contribute to scholarly and leadership activities to enhance teaching quality and student outcomes. Fixed-term position until 31 December 2027, based primarily at Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) with potential cross-site work; mix of on-campus and work-from-home options available; minimum 0.60 FTE. Salary ranges are provided for Academic Level B or Level C with 17% superannuation, and may vary by level. Applicants must have unrestricted working rights; visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, with current AHPRA registration and approved supervisor status (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience teaching and/or supervising postgraduate psychology students.
- Strong understanding of placement coordination and professional accreditation requirements.
