Job Summary
Two Lecturer positions in Water Engineering and Sustainability Engineering at Western Sydney University. Role involves teaching and contributing to research across both appointments, coordinating, designing, delivering and evaluating units with assessment design and feedback practices, and supporting student progression to postgraduate study. Engage in active research and scholarship, supervise honours and higher degree research students, develop external grant proposals, and build collaborations with academic colleagues and external stakeholders. Cross-disciplinary expertise to teach into either Water Engineering (water resources, water systems, groundwater, water-sensitive urban design) or Sustainability Engineering (waste/water processing and management, sustainability/circularity assessment, sustainable design of products and services). Requires PhD in relevant engineering field, passion for teaching, and an emerging or established research profile. Will contribute to curriculum enhancement, publish in peer-reviewed outlets, supervise HDR students, and assist in grant applications. Based at Penrith campus with flexible working arrangements; salary AU$123,327–$145,625 per annum plus 17% superannuation and Leave Loading.
