Job Summary
Deliver high standards of teaching and learning in Health and Social Care, monitor assessment processes, and provide induction and guidance to learners undertaking full-time programmes. Develop, coordinate, and deliver core and additional health-focused programmes, support T Level Health, BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care, and HE programmes, and produce schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment materials. Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments, communicate external examination entries and timetables, handle learner queries, and contribute to the department’s vision and success. Requires relevant health qualifications, teaching qualification (or willingness to attain one), Maths/English GCSE at C or above, and knowledge of QA requirements and the BTEC/T Levels framework.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Qualification in Health
- Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification)
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above
- Demonstrate understanding of quality assurance requirements of awarding bodies and the College
- Demonstrate knowledge of the BTEC Level 3 Qualifications framework and/or Health Care T Levels
