Job Summary

Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for L1, L2, and L3 Electrical programmes, encompassing both classroom theory and practical workshop instruction. Plan engaging learning programmes and produce schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment materials to ensure job readiness. Conduct regular assessments through observations, practical evaluations, and marking, while coordinating course team records of formative and summative work. Collaborate with the Head of School and IQA to maintain high standards, monitor examination requirements, and embed English, Maths, and ICT into the curriculum. Gather employer and work-placement feedback to maintain learner engagement and satisfaction. Use ProSuite systems to log learning interventions and evidence ongoing progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade C or above
  • A nationally recognised qualification, at least to level 3, or equivalent, in an Electrical discipline
  • 18th Edition, 2nd Amendment qualification
  • TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards)
  • Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards)
