Job Summary
Teach four classes per semester on Chinese history from 1650 to the present, with flexibility to cover broader East Asian, transnational, or global contexts including Japan or Korea. Engage students in introductory surveys and upper-level courses while contributing to the department's intellectual life and expanding curriculum. Participate in the teacher-scholar model through active research, service, and community engagement. Start July 1, 2027, with a salary range of $66,326 - $81,065.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field of history
- scheduled to complete their Ph.D. by September 1, 2027
