Job Summary
Lecturer role delivering high-quality teaching across a range of full-time and part-time programmes in Health and Social Care. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities; promoting literacy, numeracy and digital capability; contributing to curriculum planning; supporting delivery of basic and key skills; maximizing learner attendance, retention and punctuality; and creating an outstanding learning experience. Requires comprehensive subject knowledge, understanding of current educational initiatives, and a creative approach to developing teaching materials. Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint) are essential; familiarity with learner management systems, student records, virtual learning environments and e-learning platforms is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Suitably qualified and experienced professional with a strong background in the relevant subject area
