Job Summary

The Assistant Lecturer will teach face-to-face didactic, clinical, and online courses in the undergraduate nursing program at the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing. Responsibilities include teaching courses, providing career advising to students, engaging in service to the school, college, and profession, and participating in professional development activities. Applicants must have a graduate degree in nursing, RN licensure eligibility in Wyoming, and a valid driver's license.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Eligible for unencumbered RN licensure in Wyoming
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.

Desired Qualifications

  • Two or more years of acute care clinical experience
  • Two or more years of teaching experience in nursing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience supporting students in both academic and clinical settings
  • Experience in rural healthcare education and practice
  • A strong commitment to cultivating welcome and belonging in education and professional settings; skilled at collaborating with a variety of students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders to promote success
