Job Summary
The Full-Time Lecturer will deliver high-quality teaching and learning in modules up to NQF Level 7 in Operations Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, and Quality Management. Responsibilities include curriculum support, assessment development and administration, student academic support, and contributing to continuous improvement of programmes in line with institutional and regulatory requirements. Teaching and Learning involves delivering outcomes-based lectures, facilitating blended/online learning where required, and aligning learning outcomes with assessments. The role also covers assessment and curriculum support, marking and moderation, student support and development in academic writing and critical thinking, and maintaining accurate records. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with CHE standards and participating in programme reviews and institutional projects related to teaching and learning innovation. Required Qualifications
- Minimum Experience: At least 2 years’ lecturing experience in higher education or TVET at undergraduate level
- Industry experience in logistics and supply chain
- Experience in assessment design and moderation in a higher education environment
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, or similar
