Leave replacement elementary school teacher responsible for delivering instruction aligned to the curriculum, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, guiding the learning process toward curriculum goals, employing appropriate instructional methods and materials, assessing student performance with ongoing progress reports, identifying students needing additional support, communicating with colleagues, students, and parents, maintaining high expectations for performance and behavior, engaging in professional development activities, participating in building and district meetings, using technology for communication, and performing other related duties.
Required Qualifications
- NJ Elementary School Teacher Certification or eligibility required
- Teaching experience preferred
- Experience with diverse learning communities or cultural competency training/work preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status
