Job Summary
Leave of Absence Position for an Emotional Regulation Impairment (ERI) Teacher at Sparta Middle School. Provide specialized instruction and support to students with identified emotional regulation needs, focusing on social-emotional learning, behavioral regulation, and academic skills. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction based on IEPs, participating in IEP development/review, implementing PBIS, collaborating with general education staff and parents, conducting formal and informal assessments, maintaining accurate data, crisis intervention, and ongoing communication with parents/guardians. Qualifications require NJ Certification for Teachers of Students with Disabilities and an NJ instructional certificate (CE/CEAS/Standard).
