Job Summary
Analyze reported leave requests including Family Medical Leave (FMLA), unpaid state, military, and company-specific claims to determine eligibility and certification based on client plans and applicable regulations. Establish these claims, track and code documentation per internal workflows, and review information to identify action plans and determine benefits due. Communicate decisions and ongoing expectations clearly with claimants and clients via phone, written correspondence, or claims systems while maintaining professional relationships. Ensure on-going claim management adheres to company service standards and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of administrative/general office experience
- Knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise judgement in accordance with well-defined policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies as required by program
- Must live near Center of Excellence in Eden Prairie, MN
Desired Qualifications
- State certification or licensing in statutory leaves
- FMLA administration experience
