Job Summary
Analyze reported leave requests including Family Medical Leave (FMLA), unpaid state, military, and company-specific claims to make determinations based on client plans and regulations. Establish FMLA and other unpaid claims, track and code documentation, and review information to identify action plans and determine benefits due. Communicate decisions and ongoing expectations clearly with claimants and clients via phone, written correspondence, or claims systems while maintaining professional relationships. Meet quality program minimum requirements and exercise judgment in accordance with well-defined policies. Requires high school diploma, one year of administrative experience, and knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations. Starting pay is $19.31 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of administrative/general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to exercise judgement in accordance with well-defined policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies as required by program
