Job Summary
Leave Management & Systems Specialist at GTM responsible for end-to-end leave administration and compliance, including FMLA, PFL, ADA accommodations, disability programs, and workers’ compensation. Lead implementations of leave management software (e.g., AbsenceSoft), configure and customize systems, support integrations with HRIS and payroll, perform testing and QA, develop user guides and training materials, and deliver client training. Build trusted client relationships, coordinate with insurers and state agencies, stay current on regulatory changes, and identify process improvements through automation and technology while working to support clients and HR teams in navigating leave programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of experience in leave management, HR compliance, HR technology, client support, or a related field.
- Experience administering leave programs across multiple states.
- Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, Paid Family Leave, disability programs, workers' compensation, and related regulations.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, case management, or leave management systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AbsenceSoft or similar leave management platforms.
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CLMS, or another leave management certification.
