Job Summary
Leave Administration Supervisor oversees and standardizes employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations, utilizing Workday HRIS to streamline processes, and reporting on leave metrics. Responsibilities include driving implementation of leave programs, supporting PTO/absence transactions, acting as the subject matter expert for leave programs, coordinating with third-party administrators/vendors, generating regular leave reports, analyzing data to identify trends and improve efficiency, providing training on leave procedures, and developing resources to aid understanding of leave procedures within Workday. Preferred qualifications include supervisory experience, CEBS, Experience with Workday HRIS, ADA/PWFA familiarity, and reviewing collective bargaining agreements. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Absence and Disability and requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years of equivalent experience, plus three years of benefits/generalist experience.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience as a benefits generalist or related position
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, finance, or five (5) years of equivalent experience
- Experience in an HRIS system, preferably Workday
- Experience in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Experience reading and reviewing collective bargaining agreements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management and support staff in virtual and remote environments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
