Leasing Specialist Summer Student (3-Month Contract)

Job Summary
Lead all new leasing activities for multi-family residential units within a designated region, pre-qualify prospective residents to align with each building’s demographic profile, organize a showing calendar, conduct and document showings in Yardi, guide applicants to submit their lease applications promptly, complete lease agreements and move-in documentation, conduct move-in inspections and ensure documentation is uploaded within 24 hours, manage renewal activities with offers and follow-ups, maintain knowledge of property inventory (suite types, layouts, amenities), and perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years in a customer service and/or property management sales role
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and Yardi Rent Café software would be an asset
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
- A clean driver’s abstract
- Must complete & pass a criminal record check
- Preferably working towards the completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, property management or commerce program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
