Job Summary
Greet and assist residents, prospective residents, and visitors while answering telephones and scheduling appointments. Provide accurate community information, maintain up-to-date files, and show apartments following proper procedures. Pre-qualify prospects, follow up on inquiries, and process applications by running credit reports and verifying references. Accept fees and deposits, prepare renewal and initial leases 24 hours prior to move-in, and update the move-in calendar. Input daily traffic activity in MRI, inspect model and available apartments for show quality, and record maintenance work orders. This full-time role includes Monday through Friday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. One day off during the week when working on Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous marketing, sales or customer service experience normally acquired by some work experience
- Thorough knowledge of current rental rates, lease terms, specifications, locations and all property amenities and company policies
- Must be able to speak Spanish
- Must be available for every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Must be available for One day off during the week when working on Saturday
- Must be able to run credit reports for applicants
- Must be able to verify employment and housing references
- Must be able to process applications thoroughly and promptly according to the rental criteria
- Must be able to accept application fees, reservation deposits, move-in rent
- Must be able to prepare renewal and initial leases legible and accurately 24 hours prior to scheduled move-in
- Must be able to maintain satisfactory ratios in relation to telephone to visit, show to lease, conversion & TPA
- Must be able to input traffic activity information in MRI daily
- Must be able to inspect available and model apartments for show quality and maintenance work orders
- Must be able to inspect rented apartments at least 48 hours prior to move-in date
