Job Summary
Leasing Specialist at a multifamily community responsible for driving occupancy and resident satisfaction. Duties include showing apartments, qualifying leads, processing rental applications, running background and credit checks, preparing lease documents, ensuring move-in readiness, coordinating marketing initiatives, and assisting the Property Manager with daily operations. The role requires maintaining occupancy through proactive outreach, conducting tours, managing referrals and local networking, and using property management software to track interactions and renewals. Strong customer service and communication skills, plus ability to work weekends if required, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
- Property management software experience (e.g., Yardi, OneSite)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience utilizing social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Customer-service oriented
- Valid driver’s license
