Job Summary
Leasing Specialist responsible for driving occupancy and resident satisfaction in a multi-family community. Key duties include showing and leasing apartments, qualifying leads, processing rental applications, conducting background and credit checks, preparing lease documents, coordinating marketing initiatives, renewals, and coordinating with maintenance to keep units move-in ready. Role also involves delivering strong customer service, managing resident inquiries, performing outreach and networking, maintaining accurate records in property management software, and supporting the Property Manager in daily operations. Requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; weekend availability may be required; valid driver’s license may be needed for property operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software experience
- Experience utilizing social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred
