Job Summary
Tour and present properties to prospective residents, applying product knowledge to close sales. Manage the leasing and renewal process from start to finish, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements. Conduct property, building, and apartment inspections to ensure attractive appearances and report maintenance needs. Use customer management systems daily to document communications with prospective and current residents. Advertise and market properties through social media and other platforms. Build long-term relationships by addressing resident requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to management or maintenance teams as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- A High School degree, GED or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle and vehicle insurance
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in property management or a related industry
- National Apartment Leasing Profession (NALP) or similar certifications
- Strong sales skills and aptitude with confidence and drive to close the sale
- Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set
- Self-driven with an ability to manage time, multi-task, and prioritizes responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
