Job Summary
Greet and qualify all prospects, record visits on guest cards, and inspect models to communicate service needs to the Community Manager. Demonstrate product knowledge to close sales, secure deposits, and ensure apartments are ready for move-in. Process applications, update availability reports, and follow up on non-closed prospects or refer them to sister communities. Accept rental payments, type leases into the Yardi System, maintain resident files, and monitor renewals. Receive resident calls and visits, complete maintenance requests, and ensure repairs are handled satisfactorily. Assist in planning resident events and distribute company notices while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing and ADA regulations. This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with a compensation range of $21–$24 USD.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience
- Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail
- Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software
- Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends
- Must possess a strong sense for creating a sense of community
- Consistently demonstrate an open and professional attitude and approach when accessing and resolving resident and staff concerns
- Consistently demonstrate an approach of active listening
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism and positive engagement for our residents and the workforce
- An Aptitude for Connecting - Must possess a strong sense for creating a sense of community, as well as the drive to go the extra mile to create a positive experience for all residents and staff
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired
