Job Summary
Conduct telephone marketing, greet prospective residents, and gather information to set appointments for model apartment tours. Generate quotes, close leases, secure deposits, and assist applicants with rental applications and credit verification. Uphold leasing standards while ensuring all tax credit requirements are followed. Prepare paperwork for new and renewal agreements, insert approved renewal rates, and communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances to collect delinquencies. Organize resident activities, prepare newsletters, and maintain retention under the Community Manager's direction. Requires three years of onsite leasing experience in multi-family housing and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience as an onsite Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing, hospitality or similar
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- 1 year of experience in LIHTC communities
Desired Qualifications
- Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred (for LIHTC)
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation preferred (for Section 8)
