Job Summary
Leasing Specialist responsible for achieving leasing goals, maintaining occupancy, and supporting property performance. Responsibilities include prospect engagement and follow-up, pre-leasing activities, completing CMAs, creating and reviewing property descriptions and marketing efforts, processing applications, supporting move-in orientations and renewal inspections, and collaborating with Property Managers and maintenance teams. Key skills include strong phone and sales abilities, customer service, market analysis, and proficiency with property management software. Must have a High School diploma or GED and 3+ years of leasing/property management experience; valid driver’s license required with reliable transportation; real estate license is preferred but not required. The role focuses on driving occupancy and delivering a positive resident experience within a dynamic property management team.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of leasing or property management experience (single-family or multifamily)
- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close
- Experience with property management software and strong computer skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Real estate license preferred, but not required
