Job Summary
Leasing Specialist will advertise and market vacant apartments through various channels, respond to rental inquiries promptly and professionally, show available units to prospective tenants, and assist property managers in achieving occupancy goals. The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and tech-savviness for Yardi-based leasing activities and record-keeping. A bilingual (Spanish) capability is preferred, with weekend availability and the ability to work onsite at multiple California properties. Experience with affordable housing/tax-credit leasing is a plus, as is proficiency in managing listings across multiple websites while coordinating with managers and supervisors to schedule showings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in leasing (preferred)
- Tax-Credit/ Affordable Housing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Yardi software is highly preferred
- Bilingual – ability to speak Spanish preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to work with multiple websites
- Motivated and driven to contribute to personal and company growth
- Ability to relocate upon request
