Job Summary
Drive traffic, tours, and applications to lease-up communities by converting prospects into residents, managing move-ins, and supporting lease renewals. Proactively manage the sales process, maintain disciplined follow-up with non-converting leads, and provide input on pricing and promotional strategies based on market feedback. Develop relationships with local employers, housing agencies, and referral partners to generate qualified leads, while assessing leasing activity to identify performance improvement opportunities in challenging properties. Record visits accurately in company systems, process leasing documentation, and partner with onsite teams to ensure community standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of multifamily leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer relations experience
- Demonstrated success in lease-up, high-volume leasing, occupancy recovery, or challenging property environments
- Strong sales, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills
- Ability to develop outreach relationships and represent the community professionally in the local market
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with limited supervision
- Flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, community events, and portfolio support assignments
- Solid computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, internet, email, and property management systems
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to assigned communities as business needs require
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating positive resident and prospect experience
Desired Qualifications
- Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD, affordable housing, or mixed-income housing experience
- Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management Software
