Job Summary
Drive traffic, tours, and applications to support lease-up communities and convert prospects into residents through disciplined follow-up and relationship building. Proactively manage the sales process by assisting with move-ins, lease renewals, and resident transitions while professionally educating prospects on layouts, amenities, and neighborhood benefits. Develop and maintain partnerships with local employers, housing agencies, schools, and referral partners to generate qualified leads and execute outreach strategies that increase visibility. Assess leasing activity and outreach practices to identify performance improvement opportunities, then partner with onsite teams to enhance lead management and move-in readiness coordination. Record visits accurately in company systems and process applications, documentation, and resident files in accordance with Fair Housing and ADA compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of multifamily leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer relations experience
- Demonstrated success in lease-up, high-volume leasing, occupancy recovery, or challenging property environments
- Strong sales, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills
- Ability to develop outreach relationships and represent the community professionally in the local market
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with limited supervision
- Flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, community events, and portfolio support assignments
- Solid computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, internet, email, and property management systems
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to assigned communities as business needs require
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating positive resident and prospect experience
Desired Qualifications
- Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD, affordable housing, or mixed-income housing experience
- Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management Software
