Job Summary
Open repair orders, review warranty campaigns and technical bulletins, and assign job duties to technicians while coordinating service changes with customers. Perform quality control checks on workmanship, screen preventative maintenance, and ensure all warranty parts are tagged and stories are completed. Monitor technician efficiency, provide training, and manage the mobile service truck. Close tickets, verify time punches, and attach required documentation including photographs and DOT infraction forms. Submit warranty tickets within 72 hours of repair completion. Manage the dealership's mobile service truck and assist in hiring new technicians.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information
- Excellent organization, communication, and managerial skills
- Valid Commercial Driver's License and good driving record
- Two years of experience working in a diesel repair shop
- Working knowledge of heavy truck repair methods
- One-year supervisory experience
- Professional personal appearance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis
