Job Summary
Leasing Agent drives occupancy through consultative selling and lease conversion by prospecting, building relationships with prospective residents, presenting housing options, negotiating lease terms, and guiding applicants through the leasing journey while ensuring compliance with leasing laws. Responsible for responding to inquiries, engaging potential tenants, and collaborating with underwriting/leasing teams to finalize leases; requires strong communication, task organization, and customer service abilities, with emphasis on real estate/license requirements and office-suite proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required.
- Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.
- A valid State Real Estate License is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
