Job Summary
The Leasing and Resident Associate is the primary point of contact for residents and prospective residents of Mayroad housing units; initiates and maintains contact with prospective and current residents, including customer service, completion of lease documents, follow-ups on work order requests, marketing, resident events, and preparation for transitions both in and out of resident units. Essential functions include actively promoting and leasing all available units to meet occupancy goals, compiling and submitting leasing/management orders using RealPage/Yardi/Entrata, serving as first point of contact at the community office, planning and executing resident events, assisting in recovering outstanding balances, coordinating resident accommodation requests, conducting neighborhood inspections to ensure compliance, performing move-in preparations and minor cleaning, and performing other duties as assigned. Education requirement is a High School graduate or GED; requires 2+ years of related experience; must have a REAL-ID-compliant driver’s license and use of personal vehicle; proficient with property management software and MS Office; strong communication skills; ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- 2+ years of experience in property management, customer service, or related industry
- REAL-ID-compliant driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review; personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiar with property management software such as RealPage, Yardi, Entrata; Proficient with MS Office (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook); Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; Ability to work independently; Comfortable communicating with employees and residents at all levels; Basic financial skills to ensure proper accounting and documentation; Ability to pass a state and federal background check and 12-panel drug test
- Work Environment: office setting and local community; routine driving; environmental variations; PPE for inspections
