Job Summary
Leasing Consultant duties include greeting guests, professionally presenting property features, showing units, and securing leases from qualified applicants. Responsibilities also cover processing applications and deposits, preparing lease documents, conducting credit/background checks, following Fair Housing and applicable laws, updating availability, following up with prospects, ensuring units are move-in ready, renewing leases, opening/closing the leasing office, handling inquiries with professional phone etiquette, maintaining property knowledge, coordinating with sister communities, and contributing to marketing efforts including social media to maximize property visibility. Must have leasing experience in the multi-family industry, strong interpersonal and communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends). This role is located in Costa Mesa, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with two years of leasing experience
- Ability to communicate in English
- Excellent leasing and closing skills
- Computer skills and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software
