Job Summary
Conduct prospect building, apartment tours, and lease renewals to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and ensure smooth move-in experiences by inspecting units and coordinating with maintenance. Market available units through social media, email, and community events while tracking availability and resident data in property management software. Respond promptly to resident concerns and follow up with prospects via phone and email to finalize leasing decisions. Maintain show units and leasing office standards through daily inspections and merchandising.
Required Qualifications
- Previous sales and customer service experience
- Positive can-do attitude
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to complete legal documents
- Demonstrated ability to sell and explain apartment features
- Demonstrated ability to answer resident questions
- High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
- All licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet)
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking 'call' during evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to Rare or regular travel to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position
