Job Summary
Follow up on leads, screen prospective tenants, and schedule tours for a fast-paced apartment complex in Norton, OH. Prepare leases, coordinate move-ins, and manage tenant communications while ensuring 24-hour emergency coverage. Maintain accurate property and lease files in AppFolio, update social media, and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents. This role supports the Property Manager in daily operations, housing programs for medical interns, and neighborhood revitalization efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years leasing experience
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Proven team participation, with the ability to think out of the box, initiate and achieve goals to improve the performance of the properties
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Familiarity with property management software (i.e. AppFolio.)
- Effectively prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent people skills
- Strong working knowledge of general office equipment (copiers, fax machines, scanners, computers)
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with peers, managers and clients
- Dependable & flexible as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proactive, initiate follow-through
