Job Summary
Oversee all phases of leasing, resident retention, and lease renewal activities to support occupancy goals. Conduct property tours, respond to prospect inquiries, and qualify applicants in accordance with company standards. Review and process rental applications, lease agreements, move-ins, move-outs, and renewal documentation accurately and timely. Coordinate move-in orientations, lead marketing initiatives, and monitor local market trends to drive leasing performance. Maintain accurate leasing records, ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and build positive relationships with current and prospective residents. Lead and coach leasing team members while preparing weekly occupancy and activity reports. Perform routine inspections of units and model apartments, collaborate with maintenance on service requests, and ensure the leasing office remains tour-ready.
Required Qualifications
- In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations is required
- Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations required
- Relevant experience working at a property, even better at a university/college
- Entrata experience, or relevant rental software experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships
- Strong customer service skills, ability to manage difficult or emotional customer and staff situations, responds promptly to customer needs and quickly responds to resident requests
- Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training
