Job Summary
Leasing Manager at Valiant Residential needed to greet prospects, qualify and gather information, prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork, record visits, inspect models, process applications (credit, rental history), manage renewals and notices, monitor advertising and market competition, and professionally represent the community. Responsibilities include ensuring Fair Housing compliance, handling deposits, updating availability, entering data into the Yardi system, and supporting the management team with various tasks. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends are required; experience in customer service and knowledge of property-management software (Yardi) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in working with the public and/or sales
- Fair Housing Certification, willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Operate telephone, computer/keyboard, MS Word and MS Outlook, and relevant community software
- Two (2) years experience in previous relevant customer service
