Job Summary
Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating leads, conducting tours, and maintaining show rooms. Utilize marketing strategies within budget limits to drive traffic and project a favorable community image. Secure resident retention by planning functions and attending after-hours events as a host. Complete lease, move-in, and check-out paperwork timely while greeting and qualifying prospects using Lead Management Software. Manage lease renewals, process applications with credit checks, and maintain an updated availability report. Oversee leasing staff through training, development, and evaluation. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure prompt resident service responses. Maintain an active social media presence and conduct market research by surveying competing properties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- 4 years' experience in Leasing capacity
- 2 years' experience in supervisory role
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management
- Adobe
- Property Management Software
- PopCard or LTS experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to use mobile devices and applications for work-related tasks
- Must be able to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 4 years' experience in Leasing capacity – Preferred
- 2 years' experience in supervisory role – Preferred
- A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
