Job Summary
Leasing Manager leads the community’s leasing and marketing efforts to drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. The role oversees leasing staff (as applicable), develops and executes marketing campaigns, monitors leasing activities, and ensures exceptional customer experience for prospects and residents. Responsibilities include touring and qualifying applicants, preparing lease documents, managing move-ins and renewals, maintaining an inventory of ready apartments, collaborating with maintenance to meet aesthetic/safety standards, analyzing local market trends, adjusting pricing/concessions/promotions, generating leasing reports and using property management software (MRI or similar), planning leasing events and resident engagement activities, addressing inquiries or complaints professionally, and delivering performance updates to owners and senior management. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of multifamily leasing experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and PM software, strong leasing/marketing/customer service knowledge, comfort with social media use for leasing, excellent organization and communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team, customer-service orientation, weekend flexibility, and a valid driver’s license where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year multifamily leasing experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Property Management software
- Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, and customer service best practices
- Experience managing or heavily utilizing social media for leasing and outreach (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-service oriented with professional interaction with residents and vendors
- Flexibility to work weekends if required by the property
- Valid driver’s license for operating golf carts if applicable
