Job Summary
Leasing Manager at The Bellamy in Milledgeville, GA is responsible for achieving the property’s occupancy goals by executing leasing, marketing, and sales activities. Duties include generating traffic, responding to inquiries, greeting and touring prospective residents, qualifying prospects, closing leases, processing applications, and maintaining lease files. The role also covers nightly property inspections, move-in processing, lease renewals, preparing move-in packages, and assisting with the community marketing plan and outreach. Requires strong sales and customer-service skills, attention to housing laws, and collaboration with the Community Manager and team. Education: a Bachelor’s degree is preferred (business, hospitality, marketing, or property management beneficial); Experience: 1+ years leasing experience preferred. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel, Google Suite, and Entrata; reliable transportation is required. Flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/holidays; candidate must contribute to maintaining occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of leasing experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or property management is beneficial
- Experience with leasing and marketing tactics in student housing multifamily market
- Strong sales focus and ability to convert traffic to leases
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to plan and implement marketing plans
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
