Job Summary
Leasing Manager leads the leasing team, reviews leasing paperwork and approves applications, owns the renewal program, conducts tours, manages prospects and follows up to close leases, trains and motivates Leasing Consultants, maintains knowledge of pricing, availability and market conditions, collaborates with marketing to support promotions, fosters resident relations and delivers customer service, inspects vacant apartments and supports curb appeal, and monitors Fair Housing compliance while keeping organized records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college preferred
- At least 1 year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
