Job Summary
Attract and screen potential tenants, provide information about available properties, and negotiate lease terms to ensure high occupancy rates. Conduct property tours, market and promote listings, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person to make appointments. Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including preparing lease paperwork and assisting residents for a smooth move-in. Stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations while participating in property marketing events and outreach programs. Work closely with the property manager to achieve leasing goals, maintain property standards, and uphold ethical standards and fair housing regulations. Work at least one to two weekends in a month.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work at least one to two weekends in a month
- Ability to cope with stress in a composed manner
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales or leasing experience
- Demonstrate strong negotiating and sales abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of community
- Knowledge of property management software, such as, Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, etc.
- Knowledge of business practices and principles
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
