Job Summary
Leasing Consultant responsible for attracting and screening potential tenants, providing information about available properties, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Responsibilities include leasing properties to qualified prospects, conducting property tours, screening applicants, negotiating lease agreements, responding to inquiries via in-person, phone, and email, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting residents to ensure smooth move-ins. Must stay informed about local rental market trends, participate in marketing events, handle weekly/monthly reports, uphold fair housing regulations, and work flexible hours including weekends. Strong negotiating, sales, and communication skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and property-management software, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of sales or leasing experience strongly preferred
