Job Summary
Conduct daily leasing operations by attracting and screening potential tenants, providing property information, and negotiating lease terms to ensure high occupancy. Manage the full leasing process from marketing and property tours to preparing paperwork and assisting residents for smooth move-ins. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, while explaining lease policies and addressing resident concerns promptly. Stay informed on local market trends and competitor activities to maximize property visibility through promotional events. Work at least one to two weekends monthly, collaborating with the property manager to uphold ethical standards and maintain community policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work at least one to two weekends in a month
- Ability to cope with stress in a composed manner
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales or leasing experience
- Demonstrate strong negotiating and sales abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of community
- Knowledge of property management software, such as, Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, etc.
- Knowledge of business practices and principles
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations
- Ability to participate in property marketing events, outreach programs, and promotional activities to maximize property visibility
- Ability to manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments to qualified prospects, preparing lease paperwork and assisting future residents to ensure a smooth move-in
- Ability to respond to in-person, phone and email inquiries, provide leasing information, make appointments
- Ability to assist with completing weekly, monthly and special reports
- Ability to determine resident needs and respond promptly to any resident needs/concerns
- Ability to effectively and accurately explain all lease and community policies to new and current residents
- Ability to plan, organize and conduct resident functions as needed and as directed by Property Manager
- Ability to uphold ethical standards, fair housing regulations, and company policies in all leasing activities
