Job Summary
Leasing Consultant to manage daily leasing operations at an AvalonBay community, delivering exceptional customer service, conducting tours, following up on leads, and driving leasing performance through personalized interactions and creative campaigns. Weekend availability (Saturday) is required. Role emphasizes relationship-building with prospective residents, knowledge of floorplans and neighborhood amenities, and collaboration with team to create a superior living experience. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of leasing or customer service experience, proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with fair housing regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in real estate or property management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
