Job Summary
Leasing Consultant responsible for leasing and strategic marketing of residential apartment units, with the primary objective of achieving high occupancy rates and fostering positive resident relations. Responsibilities include conducting property tours, responding to inquiries, processing rental applications with background checks and income verification, meeting leasing goals, staying informed on local market conditions, managing resident inquiries and move-in/move-out processes, coordinating retention programs and events, maintaining resident/property files, entering data into Yardi/RealPage, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws, preparing occupancy/traffic/renewal reports, supporting marketing plans, maintaining vacancy-ready units, distributing marketing materials, and supporting referral programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrable experience in sales, customer service, or property management leasing
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Being bilingual is a plus
