Job Summary
Leasing Consultant responsible for coordinating the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue retention goals. Conduct property tours, open/view apartments, ensure rental-ready units, respond promptly to calls and emails, facilitate and review applications, maintain confidential resident files, and support lease renewals. Maintain clean, market-ready common areas, assist with vendor coordination, promote resident retention, and ensure professional presentation of the leasing office. Proficient communication with residents, applicants and team, and use of property-management tools (e.g., Yardi, Paycom) while upholding safety and privacy standards.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication in person, over the phone, email, and text
- Experience with Microsoft products preferred; Yardi and Paycom experience preferred
- Willingness to learn new software
- Compliance with Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws
- Prompt, regular attendance
- Access to transportation and valid driver’s license
- Criminal background check and drug testing agreement
