Leasing Consultant

Leasing Consultant role focused on coordinating marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Responsibilities include walking marketing tour paths, opening target viewing apartments, ensuring apartments and model homes are rent-ready, responding promptly to calls and emails, scheduling and conducting viewings, guiding prospective residents through the application process, reviewing and processing applications, maintaining timely communication with applicants, executing the Weidner Move In Experience with approved applicants, maintaining traffic queues, monitoring market competitiveness, and ensuring daily upkeep of common areas. Requires strong customer service, clear communication across in-person, phone, email and text, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and preferred experience with Yardi and Paycom. Compliance with Fair Housing, internal policies, and applicable laws, professional appearance, and willingness to work outside normal hours and potentially transfer to other properties. Must be able to travel to assigned Weidner properties and possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with background checks and drug testing as part of employment. The role emphasizes energetic, customer-centric leasing, tour execution, application coordination, and collaboration within a team to meet occupancy targets.
